Donzii Return With New Single “Station”

Donzii Return With New Single "Station"
Donzii “Station”

Miami via New York no-wave / post-punk / indie pop band Donzii have returned with their infectious new single “Station“.

The song is out now and follows on from last year’s EP Penetrate. Grab it here.

Commenting on the track, they say:

Station is intended to take you through a portal to a dance party on a deep space outpost. The sounds are dreamy with a hint of yearning that ties it back into the terrestrial Donzii world. We have some new production styles and influences on this one, a little Brit-pop, a little Shep Pettibone, all mixed with Donzii style. The sounds are dreamy with a hint of yearning that ties it back into the terrestrial Donzii world.”

When listening to this track, we imagine ourselves at a dance party in a Space Station… a deep space outpost. Aliens are dancing around drinking sparkling space dust martinis, playing otherworldly names of fortune, and there is definitely interspecies love brewing. There are undertones of nostalgia, as the Earth has just blown up and all the party goers are watching the bits of earth debris float by through the windows.” They added.
