Montreal-based indietronica / post punk / shoegaze /ambient project Drøme (led by F. Dupouy) have released their new single “Depression Dance“.
The track is the first taste of their upcoming EP ‘Echoes Within‘, which will be out on October 4 through Velouria Recordz. Pre-order it here.
Drøme started in 2021 as Dupouy’s solo project. Mixing an ambient electro music with some reverberated guitars, Drøme tells us a story that mixes dream with nightmare, reality with imagination. He is inspired by dreams and travel memories to create a soothing, melancholy atmosphere, sometimes with catchy and darker outlines.
A first 6 tracks EP was released on April 8, 2022. The following year, he moved to Montreal, and intends to pour his heart on the stages of the city’s indie scene. Bassist / keyboardist A. Tomeno joined the project during that year.
