The Rope Detail New Album 'Nightbird', Share "The Show"

Minneapolis, Minnesota post punk /dark wave band The Rope have revealed details of their upcoming album “Nightbird“.

They have also shared the album’s latest preview “The Show“. The 8-track record, produced by The Rope and Adam Tucker, will be out on October 4 via their our own Late Century Records label and SwissDarkNights. Pre-order your copy here.

Made up of Jesse Hagon (vocals), Mike Browning (guitar), Sam Richardson (bass), and Ben Rickel (drums), The Rope formed in Minneapolis in 2009. The band weaves post-punk, darkwave, and gothic threads into a uniquely dark and driving sound, with influences ranging from The Chameleons to The Sisters of Mercy. Over the years, the band released several EPs and their debut album, Lillian.
