Dutch Wine Return With New Single/Video "Brace"

Glasgow indie rock/alt band Dutch Wine have returned with their new single “Brace” and its accompanying video.

The song, written and produced by the band, is “a narrative of picking yourself up from rock bottom and learning to love the world and people around you again”. Grab it here.

The band recently moved to a real studio space, which offered a fresh perspective on their music and writing process. As a result, they crafted a whole new batch of music ready for consumption. Singer Calvin Smith says:

“This was the first of our new tunes that reignited the spark for me. At the start of the year I hit about of writer’s block and felt like I wasn’t able to write anything exciting or worthy. After coming up with the chords and melody, Chris and I fleshed out the song on acoustics and then took it to the practice room where it came to fruition almost instantly.”

2022 saw the band squeeze in two EP releases (As the Sun and Before it Wasn’t) amongst three sold out home town headline shows, numerous festival appearances, as well as an array of supports, lots with some of their favourite acts, all in their first full year gigging.
