Vancouver, BC indie /alt musician EKKSTACY has shared his new single “seventeen” and its accompanying music video.
The song is out today, November 8 via United Masters and follows on from their recent single “mr mole”, released in September. Buy it here.
Seventeen is a song about lost love, mistakes, and bittersweet memories of youth. Here, Ekkstacy processes his own experiences and mistakes of youth, and also speaks openly about his mental health and failed relationships, content that has affected him personally, especially in his past.
The video features a melancholic atmosphere that perfectly captures the song’s dark mood. Watch /listen below.
