Liverpool indie rock/punk/post punk band Eyesore & The Jinx have aired their new single “Float Like a Jellyfish (Sting Like a Subtweet)“.
The track is lifted from their debut album ‘Jitterbug‘, due to be self-released on March 15, and produced by Daniel Fox (Gilla Band). Pre-order your copy here.
‘Float Like a Jellyfish (Sting Like a Subtweet)’ has become a favourite in the band’s live performances. Speaking about it, Josh Miller (vocals, bass) says:
“Float Like A Jellyfish (sting Like a Subtweet)’ is our third single off the record. It’s a song about the glorious barbarism of social media, and its ever-increasing influence in determining the direction of our collective compass at the expense of nuance. It also features my first, only (and by default, best) Bianca Del Rio impersonation. In the unlikely event Bianca sees or hears this, I would like her to know that we are always down for a collab.”
