New York-based DJ, producer Facets has unveiled his new single “Raw“.
The track serves as the title track os his sophomore EP Raw, out today, April 12 via Dischi Autunno. GRab it here.
Following the release of his promising debut record “Impulse”, the founder of record label Samo Records, Facets, dives once again into his admiration for 80s trance and EBM with this two-track project. This release takes the listener through a sonic landscape fusing moody dark atmospheres with the raw energy of entrancing basslines.
The eponymous title track, “Raw”, features pounding percussion and jumpy acidic synths while “Power Structure” digs into a deeper, more cerebral dimension without sacrificing any of its dancefloor appeal. The EP is followed by two club-ready remixes by Glasgow-based producer Nightwave and Paris-based producer Stigma which offer distinctive, hard-hitting turns on the tracks.
