Fever Release New Single "A Place You Call Home"

Hull indie rock five-piece Fever have released their new single “A Place You Call Home“.

The song, produced by LIFE drummer, Stew Baxter, is out now and follows this year’s track “Long Ago“. Grab it here.

Leading on from the success of his previous band Fronteers, James Harrod (lead singer) started Fever with childhood friends Mitchell Capes (guitar) and Joe Gray (drums) in late 2019. Sam Howell (keys) and Ellis Keogh (bass) joined in 2020 & 2021 respectively to complete the line-up we see today.

Speaking on the single, Harrod says: “A Place You Call Home was inspired by the feeling of being uncomfortable in your own skin and the sense of detachment from your emotions that it brings. The title reflects finding comfort in your home as a remedy, but in reality it’s avoidance.”
