FEWS Announce New LP 'Glass City', Stream "Get Out"

Malmo-based alternative/post punk/noise pop band Fews have announced the release of their much-anticipated third album ‘Glass City‘.

The follow-up to 2019 album Into Red, was written and recorded in their current hometown of Malmö by Joakim Lindberg at Studio Sickan, and will be out on April 14th via Welfare Sounds & Records. Pre-order your copy here.

Starting with nothing but the ambition of creating something “punky and simple”, FEWS started to experiment with producer Joakim Lindberg. Leaving behind the comfort of production polish and resisting the urge to compromise for the sake of accessibility, the band’s third album is unashamedly honest, defiantly raw and represents FEWS at their bracing, brutal best.

From the band:

“Glass City” is the rawest record we’ve done so far. Unlike the previous album, we tried to make it as raw and alive as it is when playing live. It’s a really exposing feeling and especially when it’s so close to the edge you can almost feel it’s about to break.

FEWS have also shared the video for their new single “Get Out“. Watch it below.
