Alternative rock legends Jane’s Addiction have aired their new single “Imminent Redemption”, the first with their original line-up in 34 Years.
The song is out now and marks their first new material with bassist Eric Avery since the band’s 1990 classic Ritual de lo Habitual. The band have also announced a co-headline tour with Love & Rockets, supported by CRAWLERS, full dates below.
Formed in 1985, the original line-up of Jane’s Addiction is made up of Perry Farrel (vocals), Dave Navarro (guitar), Stephen Perkins (drums), and Eric Avery (bassist). Recorded at Sweetzwerland Studios in Hollywood, CA, the high energy, rock-infused single feels like an instant classic from the rock legends, though distinctly current, breathing fresh air into a new chapter of Jane’s Addiction.
Speaking about it, the band said: “It is different this time. To have everyone back together, releasing new music. It’s time. Welcome to the next chapter of Jane’s Addiction. ‘Imminent Redemption’ is only the beginning.”
