Vancouver electro pop/darkwave/shoegaze musician Leathers (aka artist/vocalist Shannon Hemmett from ACTORS) has aired her new single “Crash“.
Combining luminous guitar textures and icy-cool synths, Hemmett channels her shoegaze, post-punk and darkwave influences into a captivating, nocturnal aesthetic. David Bowie, Depeche Mode, the Cocteau Twins, and Bauhaus are some of her greatest influences.
Hemmett is also a creative director, graphic designer, photographer, filmmaker and tattooer.
