Mylar Drop New Single/Video "Scribbled Sunset"

London art-pop/synthpop band Mylar have dropped their new single “Scribbled Sunset”, and its accompanying video.

The song, recorded, co-produced and mixed with Michael Smith, features on their upcoming EP ‘Lost in the Shuffle‘, due out on April 16th. Grab it here.

Mylar is Tom Short (Vocals, Bass, Keys) Tom Clark (Guitar, Synth) and Robert Janke (Drums, Vocals). The three piece were originally drawn together – via scheming pints at South London pubs – by a mutual love of alternative 80s pop records of The Cure, XTC, The Blue Nile.

Inspired by the mysterious lyrical narratives explored by these influences – “Where everything in music now feels extremely literal and diaristic”- their latest clutch of new material duly provides a sequence of melancholic care-worn tales, addressing each song to their listener with the intimacy of confession, and also the timelessness of a cautionary tale.
