Canterbury, UK indie rock/alt band Lotusbliss have dropped their new single “Tear Me Apart“, alongside a music video.
Lotusbliss is the result of a literal lifetime of creating, experimenting, noise-making and camaraderie between brothers Josh, Seth and Adam. Since their 2019 debut they’ve garnered critical acclaim with the release of three “spellbinding” EPs .
With a DIY spirit and an ethereal sensibility, the sound of lotusbliss marries ambient soundscapes, high-octane guitar, raw lyricism and infectious melodies, whilst also taking advantage of the vocal similarity of siblings to blend their voices in and out of unison and harmony.

Of the single, Josh Gauton says: “‘Tear Me Apart’ is a song about resilience, about finding the resolve to not let the challenges and darkest moments define you, but instead be the making of you. It’s the first single we’re releasing from our upcoming project, where all the songs carry some sort of relational narrative – sometimes euphorically amorous, sometimes fraught – and visually we wanted to represent that in a way that captures the highs and lows, the sense of exploration and adventure and the intensity that can come with it.”
