Nice Biscuit Unleash New Single/Video "Fade Away"

Brisbane garage pop/psych band Nice Biscuit have unleashed their new single “Fade Away” and its accompanying music video.

The track is the third taste of their upcoming sophomore album ‘SOS‘, due to be released on October 4th via Bad Vibrations/Fuzz Club (EU) and The Reverberation Appreciation Society/Greenway Records (NA). Pre-order your copy here.

Since the release of their debut LP in 2018, Nice Biscuit has developed a distinct psych-rock sound influenced by krautrock, garage, and modern psych. The band transcends the classic psych hallmarks of fuzzy guitars and repetitive rhythms with the performance and vocal harmonies of co-front women, Billie Star and Grace Cuell, who use constant harmonies throughout each song to create a distinct voice within the sonic landscape of Nice Biscuit.

Speaking about the single, Grace Cuell explains:

Both Billie and I have the kind of people-pleasing tendencies that land us in trouble from time to time. This song is about accepting that sometimes you just have nothing to give, and that’s ok!

Of the video, directed by Dan Macarthur and Mel Poole, they say: “We wanted the video to emulate the feeling of burn out and desire to get away from life in a fun way”.
