Bogota, Colombia electronic/dark disco/nu disco duo Nuclear Digital Transistor have shared their new single “Rotos“.
From the vaults of the underground, the Kaputt.wav label homies come back with the new EP “DISCOS CASSETTES”, set to arrive this Friday, September 27. Pre-order it here.
In this new release the duo showcases their dubbest and cacophonous work to date. The homonymous first track stretches the tights between indie and electro with a monotonous tight analogue bassline strong enough to blend between discordant synthesizers, distorted vocals and noise. Beautiful entrance to a night rave.
Rotos, the second instance, begins with an already characteristic polyrhythmic bass driving us through space while chanting the mantra “Rotos, estamos rotos” in the look for spiritual revival through an acid lead. Leather heater.
The last track of the EP surprises not only for being a twist of the original mix but for giving the EP a band track with more lyrics, new synths and a breakbeat that lasts 2:44.
There is no stop for NDT and this EP is a clear way forward for what’s yet to come.
