Nuxx Vomica Reveals New Single/Video "Easy Go"

Brooklyn-based electronic / synthwave / techno artist Nuxx Vomica (aka Madeline Seely) has revealed her new single “Easy Go“, and its accompanying music video.

The song features on her upcoming EP ‘FTEV‘, set to arrive on March 14 via Synthicide. Pre-order your copy here.

FTEV took shape during her live performances. Seely says:

“I feel like because I wrote these songs in front of other people live, I didn’t always have the chance to self-censor. Because of that, I just made something that was maybe a little more honest than I otherwise would have let myself be.”

Easy Go” is constructed of precise, cutting basslines and filthy house music elements; the result is a tornado of energy that refuses to dissipate.

Nuxx Vomica invokes movement. Since her first EP, A Different Place from 2020, Seely has been causing chaos on stages along the East Coast with her raucous performances. “I find myself connected to spaces and environments a lot,” says Seely. “And when I think of the music I make and enjoy, I think a lot about the headspaces that rooms can put me in. It’s something I notice a lot in retrospect.”

These spaces, which undoubtedly must be pitch black and fog-filled, helped Seely to write her newest EP, FTEV. It was during her live performances that these songs took shape: “I feel like because I wrote these songs in front of other people live, I didn’t always have the chance to self-censor. Because of that, I just made something that was maybe a little more honest than I otherwise would have let myself be.”
