Italian dark disco /electroclash /synthwave duo Oh! have premiered their debut single “Alien“, featuring London-based vocalist Alexander Price.

Oh!, the lockdown lovechild of Massimo Braghieri and Gianluca Pighi, began as a ping-pong of creative ideas between the two. It quickly gained traction and now erupts as an explosive culmination of their respective musical dexterity and fearless analogue exploration. Recorded in state-of-the-art Elfo Recording Studios in the countryside of northern Italy, ‘Alien’ is a sonic ode to a human’s doomed and misaligned love for an extraterrestrial who is “intellectually superior, but emotionally inferior”
Orbiting the classic genres that shaped their evolution as DJs and music producers, the duo pay respectful homage to synth pop and post punk bands like DEVO and The Human League.
The track features the enigmatic Alexander Price, who revives the drastic & brazen, unapologetic vocal style that defined the electroclash scene of the early 2000s.
