Nashville, TN dream pop/new wave/post punk band Palm Ghosts have dropped their new single “Another Blind Machine” and its accompanying video.
The track is the first single from the upcoming EP ‘Escape‘ EP, and offers a taste of what Palm Ghosts are planning for Facades, a double LP due later this year. The Escape EP will be out on May 10. Pre-order it here.
Palm Ghosts bassist/vocalist Joseph Lekkas says, “‘Another Blind Machine’ is a song about the unknowable machinery of fate that works behind all things.”
The band will release a series of songs and videos, one at a time, every two weeks, that will end up populating four EPs and ultimately a double LP by the end of the year.
The double LP, called Facades, will feature 20 songs that mix genres and moods like no other release in Palm Ghost’s large catalog. The songs will explore topics like religion, cults, love, loss and survival in the modern age. Some with beautiful melodies, some dark and brooding, but 100 percent Palm Ghosts.
