Palm Ghosts “Signal” Gerald Gardiner Remix

Nashville, TN dream pop/new wave/post punk band Palm Ghosts have unleashed the Gerald Gardiner Remix of their track “Signal“.

The remix is taken from the band’s upcoming remix record ‘Deconstructed‘, due to be released on July 21.

Gerald Gardiner, producer/midi programmer and one-third of Nashville band PreCog, has infused the song with electronic beats and synths that beckons you to the dance floor.

The original song features on their album ‘Post Preservation‘, released in October last year.

Taking cues from bands such as Cocteau Twins, Peter Gabriel, Echo and The Bunnymen, New Order, early U2 and The Cure, Palm Ghosts takes the sounds of early 80s alternative music and brings it into the new millennium.

The sound of an 80s prom in a war zone…located in the dead heart of country music, Nashville, TN. That is the sound and spirit of Palm Ghosts, as far from the honky-tonks and pedal taverns of their adopted city as one can get. More at home in rainy Manchester or blustery Berlin, the trio weaves early cinematic dream pop and new wave with brooding post punk.

Palm Ghosts are:
