Manchester post punk/indie band Peacock Method have revealed their new single “Love is Blue“.
The track follows previous singles ‘Slowly’ and ‘Your Faith’ both with influences of Manchester royalty such as The Smiths and Joy Division, as well as the likes of The Cure or Slowdive. With that in mind, you might think to know exactly how would they sound, but new single ‘Love is Blue’ will prove you wrong.
Three minutes of constantly shifting and swirling textures, it’s the band’s most ambitious offering to date; an exploration in dynamics that shows exactly what they’re capable of.
“Love Is Blue began as a poem” the band explain, “and it became a colourful ambient love song when brought to the whole band.”
