With Open Eyes, the band staking claim to a new identity. Moving away from darker sonic roots, their sound has progressed to a brighter, more polished aesthetic with fresh influences from the Hi-Fi luxury of West Coast sound and the smooth cuts of 1980s post disco. Is a track filled with glossy opulence, grounded by a carefully-woven percussive ensemble. It’s bright, intricate, and lush, and establishes the act’s new definitive sound going forward.

Plastic Estate “Open Eyes” Lyrics:
I think I’m feeling too good
By now I’m usually bad
I’m feeling more than a should
This can’t be all just a fad
Awaiting that moment in lifetime
A stranger feels like a home
When you wager your mind to see it
Don’t leave it alone
Open eyes
Leaving your keys on the side
I never planned an escape
Another fate realised
This riot’s not a parade
Awaiting that moment in lifetime
A stranger feels like a home
When you wager your mind to see it
Don’t leave it alone
Open eyes
