Los Angeles post punk band Provoker have announced the release of their third studio album “Mausoleum“.
Along with the announcement the band have also shared the lead single “Another Boy” alongside a video. The follow-up to their 2023’s sophomore album ‘Demon Compass‘, will be out on May 9 via YEAR0001 Records. Pre-order your copy here.
According to the press release, Christian Crow Petty, Jonathan Lopez, and Wil Palacios, the band’s horror aficionados, used this cinematic perspective to create Mausoleum, which was partially influenced by Petty’s “thoughts of hauntings while holed up in an Echo Park attic.”
Kenneth Blume, also known as Kenny Beats, oversaw the album’s production. Beats has previously collaborated with artists like Vince Staples, IDLES, and Rachel Chinouriri, to mention a few. The record was also produced with the assistance of Elliot Kozell (Yves Tumor, SZA), Simon Christensen (Gunna, Young Thug), Mikey Freedom Hart (Blood Orange, Lana Del Rey), and Zach Fogarty (Jean Dawson, Eyedress).
