Montreal new wave/synth pop artist Radiant Baby (aka Félix Mongeon) has dropped the video for his latest single “Mort de rire“.
Radiant Baby discovered and learned music composition on his own, all while pursuing his PhD in social science. After a few electronic instrumental sets, he decided to layer his compositions with his own vocals to express his energy on stage and to communicate with the audience.
Mongeon combines contemporary electronic sounds with 70s vintage influences, such as glam rock, punk, disco and new wave. His music juxtaposes a fiery and raw energy with a more vulnerable, melancholic and romantic atmosphere, reminiscent of such artists as Bowie, Blondie, Suicide, Pulp and Serge Gainsbourg.
The track is out now via Lisbon Lux Records, grab it here and watch the clip below.
