Cologne based synth-pop/disco singer, songwriter and producer Marius Lauber aka Roosevelt, has released his new single “Luna“.
The song is out now via Counter Records/Ninja Tune and follows last month’s track “Ordinary Love“. Buy it here.
The guitar-led ‘Luna’ is a spacebound slice of funk that recalls Roosevelt’s 2022 Nile Rodgers collaboration ‘Passion’.
Speaking about it, Roosevelt says: “Luna started as a jam with a bass line 2 years ago – it was laying on my hard drive already when doing my last album, Polydans, and it never really developed into a song. I’ve reconnected with some of my old equipment and a stripped down setup in the last months and finally made it work, turning it into a funk driven dance track. ”
