Seattle, WA dream pop/indie pop/shoegaze artist Sea Lemon (aka Natalie Lew) has unveiled her new single “Breakdown” featuring Oakland-based musician Jackson Phillips aka Day Wave.
The track features on her upcoming EP ‘Stop at Nothing‘, out tomorrow, August 25 via Luminelle Recordings. Order it here.
Commenting on the track Sea Lemon shares: “‘Breakdown’ was written by Jackson and myself the first day we started recording together. It came out pretty naturally, especially lyrically. The song is a campy story all about the aftermath after being wronged by someone where you’re trying to figure out if you should forgive and forget or seek revenge.”

Sea Lemon “Breakdown” Lyrics:
(1)
Turning again
I go back and forth
Wanted to say
Maybe it’s enough
Hope that you’ll breakdown
Do you wish you could
Fall apart
I’ll stop at nothing for you
Lean on your older sister
Stay until you’re overworked you knew
I’d wait around
Yeah I’ll keep sticking with you until you’re mine
Turning again
I go back and forth
Wanted to say
Maybe it’s enough
Hope that you’ll breakdown
Do you wish you would
Fall apart
You fall apart
I’ve done so much to please you
They think I’m your assistant
Dear, become a distant memory
Let’s go to the mattresses
Yeah I’ll be sticking with you until you’re mine
Repeat (1)
