London, UK indie/dream pop/britpop /alt band SENSES have announced the release of their second full-length album ‘All The Heavens‘.
The follow-up to their 2023’s critically acclaimed debut ‘little pictures without sound‘ will be out on July 11, featuring their previously unveiled single ‘accelerate our love‘. Pre-order your copy here.
According to the press, the new record is a sonic departure and new sound – an adventure into a fresh, ambitious and more progressive, psych, soul indie sound with elements of shoegaze, alt-rock, dreampop and electronic-leaning anthems.
all the heavens was produced by Gavin Monaghan (Stone, Editors, The Twang), mastered by Graeme Lynch (recent number 1 with Blossoms album ‘Gary’) and features some very special collaborations with Ash Sheehan (The Twang), the Bon Iver-esque Callum Pickard and a very special collaboration and remix from a massive shoegaze legend. There’s a song for all tastes on the record!
Speaking about it, they say:
“When we got back in the studio to record a few tracks it all fell together very organically – without force, we knew in our hearts it was the right thing to do and a great snapshot of where we are now today musically. We definitely didn’t want to go and record the same album we did first time around. So we haven’t. ‘All the heavens’ is a sonic leap, progression and an adventure into the unknown. We’ve pushed our songwriting as far as we could and this is the vibrant result drawing on everything from alt-rock, krautrock, shoegaze, dreampop and everything in between – a set of songs we’re extremely proud of. It’s an album of collaboration, working with talented creatives and inspirations we count ourselves lucky to have on the album!“
