East London art wave/post punk/krautrock band Snapped Ankles have revealed the video for their new single “Planet You“.
The song is taken from their upcoming EP ‘Blurtations‘, set to arrive on April 22 (RSD) via The Leaf Label. Pre-order it here.
‘Blurtations’ sees the woodwose focus their eye on the work of a single artist. Ted Milton’s post-punk Dada-jazz stalwarts Blurt blazed a trail for acts like Snapped Ankles, and ‘Blurtations’ assembles covers of some of their finest works, including ‘The Fish Needs A Bike’.
Milton describes the song as being about ‘leaving (a relationship) and arriving (at another)’, which is rather apt for a cover version, in a strange way.
