East London art wave / post punk /krautrock band Snapped Ankles have unleashed their new single “Smart World“ alongside a music video.
The track is the third single from their upcoming album ‘Hard Times Furious Dancing‘, due to be released on March 28 through The Leaf Label. They have previously shared “Pay The Rent” and “Raoul”. Pre-order your copy here.
Speaking about it, the band shared: “’Smart World’ is an imagined conversation about AI between Brian Eno and Conny Plank. The pros and the cons. The opportunities and the ethical questions. And then we asked them to perform the song for the video. Or rather AI asked them. So here’s our fully unauthorised, self-created video that didn’t require the time or payment of any of the people in it. Nor any video directors, editors or other professionals. Welcome to the future.’”
