Vilnus, Lithuania post punk/electronic/techno/leftfield/alt act Solo Ansamblis have aired their new single “Svelnus Jausmai” (Tender Feelings in Lithuanian), alongside a music video.
The track is out now via Artoffact Records and serves as the first taste of their upcoming new album “Scenos” (Scenes) due out next year. Get it here.
Solo Ansamblis combines dance and emotion shattering moods, electronic sounds with live instruments, analog synthesizers and digitally processed sound. Their music invites for a trip within yourself, your mind and heart. The ever-growing audience named their style as ‘sad dance’.
This new piece is one of those scenes, making up the whole sonic world of the new album and setting its sound code. The ’80s synthpop trip of nostalgia glitches and synthetic déjà vu.
According to SOLO ANSAMBLIS, this new offer is an open and self-ironic look at oneself, without fear of criticizing, asking, reflecting, playing. On their own words:
“The song is about how the sounds bring back memories and feelings. You don’t remember a specific event, but you do remember the experience. Everybody can relate to these flashbacks on their personal intimate level.”
