Swedish post punk/indie rock/alt band Cut City have shared their new single “På Andra Sidan Av Aldrig” (The Other Side of Never).
CUT CITY comprises four gentlemen from Gothenburg and Malmö, and this wreck of a band has been around for nearly 20 years. During these years, they’ve shared stages with good friends from bands such as Division of Laura Lee, Alarma Man, and Dipper. Their debut album, EXIT DECADES, came out in 2007 through the infamous LA-imprint Gold Standard Laboratories (The Mars Volta, The Locust, Chromatics.
Since then CUT CITY has released three more albums and a couple of EPs, where the post punk influences has spliced its DNA with sun-kissed indierock and melodic 80’s punk rock to produce a number of hits worldwide.
PÅ ANDRA SIDAN AV ALDRIG, was recorded during the summer and fall of 2024 at Castlemania, SI Sounds, and Northern Tropic. Max Hansson wrote the lyrics, while the band composed the music.
