German indie pop/indie rock band Some Sprouts have unveiled their new single “Flowers (We Have Grown)“.
The song is out now and is the fourth single of their upcoming album (TBA), they have previously released “Brother”, “Green Feather”, and “Tomorrow” .Get it here.
“Flowers (we have grown)” is a song that dresses in a cheerful, colorful indie-pop garb. However, the lyrics could not be more contrary: they deal with self-doubt and pain, as well as the uncertainty of a young love.
Bittersweet, woefully happy, brightly sad– mixed feelings are the most intense, and some sprouts deliver the perfect soundtrack for every temper. Their dreamy mix of slacker rock and indie pop combines the lightness of summer with the melancholy of an ending vacation.
