Sun Mahshene Air New Single "New Shores"

Dublin dream rock /neo-psych / nu-gaze sextet Sun Mahshene have aired their new single “New Shores“.

The song is out now and is the second taste of the band’s upcoming debut album ‘A Place We’ve Never Been‘, out sometime this year. We have previously heard “Reverie“.

“A lot of the lyrics are about escaping, but at the same time a lot of them are about being rooted, finding home,” says singer Nathan Henderson. “The song could be a farewell to a past lover, or indeed to a past way of life”.

Grab it here and take a listen below.

Sun Mahshene “New Shores” Lyrics:

Who am I?
I’ve been lost in the mire for a while
Two ships in the night
I’ll be waving as we sail on by

Where to now?
I’ll steer this bow
Let’s plot a course
And head for new shores

Goodbye my dear
We’ll always be friends
I hope you find your hearts desires
And cross the seven seas

Who are you?
You’ve been lost in the mire for too long
It’s time to go
And be everything you hoped

Where to now?
I’ll steer this bow
Let’s plot a course
And head for new shores

Goodbye my dear
We’ll always be friends
I hope you find your hearts desires
And cross the seven seas

Goodbye my dear
We’ll always be friends
I hope you find your hearts desires
And cross the seven seas
