New York City-based art punk band Tea Eater have dropped their new single “Technicolor Rash“.

No one’s more fun in the post (or present) apocalypse than Tea Eater. Fronted by Tarra Thiessen of Gustaf and Sharkmuffin, the band has made significant waves with frenetic performances, surf-rock-on-Neptune grooves and sucker punch tracks about hating the DMV.
Their debut LP, Obsession, produced and mixed by Drew Vandenberg and released in October 2023, showcases the whirring power of their sound, inviting you to shed your baggage and transmute your neurosis into something worth dancing about.
The band started 2024 with the release of a remix by David Sound Wizard of “Cosmic Coconut.” They spent February in Los Angeles for a residency. In July, they exclusively released an alternate version of “Fuck the DMV” and a cover of Liam Lynch’s “United States of Whatever” via Bandcamp. They also toured the Midwest on their way to Mothland’s Distorsion Festival in Montreal.
Additionally, Tea Eater released 7 music videos for songs from Obsession, and this October, will see the release of two new singles before embarking on a 3 week European tour.
