London neo-psych / alt band Temples have unleashed their new single “Day Of Conquest” alongside a music video.
The track is taken from their upcoming EP ‘Other Structures‘, due to be released on October 4th via Heavenly Recordings. Pre-order it here.
The EP is a collection of never released music from their ‘Sun Structures’ demos, along with some new remixes made with friends. “Day Of Conquest” was apart of the demos but never made it onto the final record. Singer /guitarist, James Bagshaw says:
“‘Day of Conquest’ was part of the Sun Structures album demos, and it probably would have been on the album, but we ran out of run time on the LP. I remember being fond of this song, and it was a pleasant surprise to go back and unearth the sonic layering. I love how the sections contrast in an interesting way, and the fact there isn’t really a chorus!”
The music video features archived VHS footage from their cover photoshoot and first time performing the Album live.
