Gothic rock/darkwave act The Awakening has dropped the video for “Haunting“.
The track features on his self-titled album (his 12th to date), released in October last year via Intervention Arts. Get your copy here.
‘Haunting’ establishes The Awakening’s return to its dark roots. Once again, Nyte created the music video in his trademark black-and-white format. Of the track and video he says:
“‘Haunting’ is a celebration of old-school Gothic Rock, with a suitable dose of Post-Punk swagger and a wink at the camera. It’s probably the most whimsical song on the album and one I greatly look forward to playing live later this year. I wanted the video to capture some campy Horror B-Movie goodness, and I am very happy with the result“.
“After the intensity and social commentary of ‘Mirror Midnight’, it was a lot of fun to create a video on the other side of the spectrum. It is best enjoyed at very high volume!“
