Knoxville, Tennessee synth pop/cinematic pop/ new wave artist The New Romantics (aka multi-instrumentalist Brandon Biondo) has shared his new single “No Imagination“.

Brandon Biondo has been writing and recording under the New Romantics moniker since 2013. His work blends a strong melodic sensibility with a meticulous attention to sound detail, and the stylistic diversity of The New Romantics underlines the sheer variety of music that he has played throughout his career. What unites the diverse sound of The New Romantics is in the name itself: not romance per se, but deep emotion, as Biondo leaves his listeners with a particularly delicate and star-crossed sense.
His self-titled LP, released in October 2023 served as the project’s formal introduction. Over ten tracks, The New Romantics combined a wide range of moods and styles, from post-punk to synth-pop to psych rock, into an experience that’s both timeless and singular.
