Stockport indie rock /alternative band The Rolling People have unveiled their new single “Reign“.
The track is out today, November 29 through LAB Records. Get it here.
At just 18 years old, The Rolling People have taken the indie music scene in their stride. Their year-ending single, ‘Reign,’ wraps up a heady music industry debut year that saw them signed to Manchester’s most talked-about indie label, LAB Records, before a scramble of live agents fought for their not inconsiderable onstage talents. The band released their “BeforeIt’s Gone” EP back in August and will end this year with their biggest homecoming show to date at Manchester’s legendary 1400-capacity O2 Ritz.
‘Reign’ struts with a confidence that only a young band with the world at their feet can muster. This isn’t tired old indie guys; this is young, ramped-up rock music for the new generation.
Frontman Charlie McNichol says of the new release:
“Reign is a song that is about taking control of the situations you find yourself in everyday life, and not letting people dictate your every move for their gain. The lyrics spark a sense of hope, and the chorus helps consolidate the idea of taking what you love to the edge to make it work out”.
