Minneapolis, Minnesota post punk /dark wave band The Rope have released their new single “Nightbird“.
The song, produced by The Rope and Adam Tucker, serves as the lead single and title track of their upcoming album, Nightbird, set to arrive onvia SwissDarkNights. Grab it here.
The Rope, made up of Jesse Hagon (vocals), Mike Browning (guitar), Sam Richardson (bass), and Ben Rickel (drums), formed in Minneapolis in 2009. The band weaves post-punk, darkwave, and gothic threads into a uniquely dark and driving sound, with influences ranging from The Chameleons to The Sisters of Mercy.
