The True Faith Share New Single "Feet Held to the Fire"

Boston coldwave/post punk/darkwave band True Faith have shared the video for their new single “Feet Held to the Fire“.

The track features on their forthcoming second studio album ‘Go to Ground‘, which will be out on January 20th through A La Carte Records. Pre-order your copy here.

Speaking about it the band’s Benson says:

‘Feet Held To The Fire’ was the first song that was written for the new album. We had just wrapped up the recording of They Can Always Hurt You More when we started working on this track. The song is ultimately about accountability – holding ourselves accountable and being accountable to others. This entire album came at a major transitional point for us – not only as a band but in our own individual lives – and each song really highlights an experience felt at the time.

The True Faith “Feet Held to the Fire”

The True Faith consists of core members Travis Benson (vocals/guitar), Quentin Moyer (guitar), and Dylan Kotliar (bass), the band started as a solo project by Travis when he released the self-titled demo cassette, which was a darker minimal synth/industrial type sound. The demo caught the attention of à La Carte Records who approached them to release an album on the new label.

Benson recruited friend Quentin Moyer to play guitar on their debut EP, As Much Nothing As Possible, shifting towards more of a classic, synth-pop sound. After the release of the EP, they began working on their first full-length album, They Can Always Hurt You More, and added Dylan Kotliar on bass during this time, with Tom Weir (from Old Moon) playing drums.

Currently, the band also includes Nauman Javed on drums and Francisco Ilabaca on synth.
