TONTO Announce Debut Album "Hope, Faith & Carnage"

Scottish rock n roll band TONTO have announced the release of their most-anticipated debut album “Hope, Faith & Carnage“, due out 28th February.

The 10-track album was recorded and produced with Ewan Simpson at Studio B in Edinburgh. The result is an organic live sound that still feels polished without losing the grit. The band have already shared a handful of songs from the album, including , LiverpoolCharlene as well as the latest track, Alone.

Tonto deliver raw and heartfelt tunes with honest lyrics with a gritty anthemic edge capturing working class spirit. Front-man Kieran Fisher has shared the stage with The Snuts, Gerry
Cinnamon, The View and CAST. Seeking a bigger and more dynamic sound he brought in Lyle Finlay on guitar, Jay Strachan on drums and Lewis McGrandles on bass to form TONTO.

According the the press release, “Hope, Faith & Carnage” dives into the messy raw realities of addiction and recovery. Songs like Beltbuckle and On Top are about starting over, looking after yourself, setting boundaries and figuring out whats next.

The record alternates post brit-rock tracks with stripped back acoustic gems including a guest vocal from Laura Begley to keep things interesting. Fisher summarises: “Even though its built around some dark themes, there is a lot of hope and light present proving you can come back from your worst and still find joy.”
