Manchester psych/post-punk band W H Lung have shared their new single “Flowers in the Rain“.
The track is the final preview of their third album ‘Every Inch of Earth Pulsates‘, due to be released this Friday, 18th October through Melodic Records. Pre-order your copy here.
Featuring vocalist Hannah Peace on lead vocals, Flowers in the Rain delivers a captivating, reflective slice of shimmering pop. The band’s Tom Sharkett shares:
“We really wanted Hannah to have her own moment on the record, and this felt like the perfect opportunity. We aimed to create a straightforward song—something you could easily play on an acoustic guitar. We wrote it around those guitar chords, and it was the first one we recorded in Sheffield. We just went for it, and everyone loved it.”
