London alternative/funk band Warmduscher have revealed their new single “Top Shelf“, alongside an accompanying music video.
The song is taken from their upcoming album ‘Too Cold To Hold‘, due to be released on 15 November via Strap Originals. Get it here.
Speaking about the video, directed by GODFEARING, the band’s Clams said:
“In Top Shelf by Warmduscher, we encounter a young woman navigating the perilous mating grounds of the urban landscape. Like a rare wildebeest in the throes of seasonal heat, she has just split from her partner and seeks solace in the embrace of a new mate. Yet, the primal pull of her former lover proves too potent to resist.”
“Drawn back into his familiar grasp, they engage in a charged and illicit encounter, their movements intense, magnetic—every look and touch part of an age-old courtship ritual, teetering on the edge of instinct and temptation. The beat of the track underscores this delicate, wild dance, a soundtrack to the raw pull of desire at its most unbridled.”
