British musician/artist Alison Goldfrapp has shared the Boys’ Shorts Sensor-E-Motion Remix of her track “Love Invention“.

The original song serves as the title track of her debut solo album ‘The Love Invention‘, released in May via Skint/BMG Music.

Of the song, Goldfrapp said:

The lyrics describe the ultimate love experience -a machine prescribed potion courtesy of Doctor What?. I was inspired by the idea of a machine or pill that gives you a feeling of complete euphoria. It’s also inspired by the quick-fix self-improvement culture you particularly find on social media that I find slightly humorous. I’m slightly cynical of it but fascinated by it as well.”

Commenting on Boys’ Shorts, she says: “It was lovely meeting both of them at my Rough Trade signing, and a pleasure to have them put their own unique spin to my music.”

Boys’ Shorts sound is a blend of everything they love to mix in their DJ sets, from disco to breaks and slow techno to acid. To quote the boys “…we make people dance!”

They’ve released on labels such as HE.SHE.THEY, Locals Suicide’s “Iptamenos Discos”, Love Child, Future Disco, and delivered remixes for artists such as Yuksek w/ Polo & Pan, Kasper Bjorke, Boy George, Mala Ika, Kito Jempere ft Wolfram to name a few. — Source: RA
