Fort Worth, TX indie rock / synth rock / new wave band Black Tie Dynasty have released their new single “Maladjusted“.
The song is out now and is another taste of their highly-anticipated third studio album ‘Steady‘, produced By Alex Bhore, due to be released on May 10. Pre-order your copy here.
We have previously heard “Hurricane” and “Beginner“.
The track (as is the whole album) is dedicated to Black Tie Dynasty‘s late drummer Eddie Thomas, who passed away in late 2020.
This is what the band had to say about it: “This is Eddie’s song and it gives us chills just thinking about it. This was the first song we wrote during our first Steady writing session. This song deals with some big emotions. It was one of our most cathartic creative experiences we can remember. The haunting (underwater)bass line. The way the synths spring to attention. The impromptu guitar solo written moments before tracking and the stinging of tears as they welled up in my eyes… Here’s looking at you, Eddie.”
