Melbourne punk/garage punk/post punk six-piece BLONDE REVOLVER have dropped the video for their new single “Lipstick and Leather“.
A self-proclaimed “single babe anthem”, the track features on their upcoming debut album ‘Good Girls Go To Heaven, Bad Girls Go Everywhere‘, set to be released on February 3 through Rack Off Records. Pre-order your copy here.
Speaking about the song and video, vocalist Zoe Mulcahy shares:
“’Lipstick and Leather’ was originally intended as a single babe anthem written at the end of 2021. It covered the intensities of steamy date nights I had over summer last year. While the Hot Femme Summer mentality of the song still holds true for me, after filming the video clip I can’t help but think about my revolvers and how much fun we had filming and fucking around on camera whenever we play it live now. I guess the song has evolved to mean even more to me than I originally thought it would. I hope whoever listens to it has as much fun as we did making it.”
