French cold wave / post punk band Curtain have shared the video for their latest single “Against the wall“.
The track features on their recent album ‘Between us‘, which came out in March 2024 via Manic Depression label. Grab it here if you haven’t already.
Curtain released two albums and 1 EP in the 2000s. Influenced by the Cure, the Chameleons or Joy Division, they are compared to post punk and gothic bands like Interpol, Little Nemo, Asylum Party or more recently Soft Kill. After a 15 year break, Curtain went back in 2021 for the 20th birthday of “No Flowers by Request” reissued in a Deluxe version by MusikÖeye label.
The band returned in 2022/23 with several gigs supporting Christian Death, and Selofan. Between Cold and Dark, angry bpm and Depeche Mode vocals, Curtain gives all fans of the dark scene a good slap in the face.
