Berlin-based indie dance/electronic/dark disco/nu disco/synth-wave trio Dina Summer have unveiled their new single “Promise Me“, featuring Curses and Joshua Murphy.

This new offering is an intense and passionate track that encapsulates the all-encompassing feeling of love. Together, they create a romanticism that deepens the core themes of obsessive love that echoes throughout the Girls Gang album. Beginning as a sorrowful and emotive lament, the track builds emotional intensity, the multi-layers reflecting the complexities of romantic turmoil and desperation, finally erupting in an emotional crescendo.
‘Promise Me’ collaborator, the Berlin-based Curses, fuses New Wave, Post-Punk, and 80s EBM into a genre-defying sonic experience. Known for his haunting vocals and electrifying guitar riffs, Curses channels the dark energy of the 80s with a modern edge. His latest album Another Heaven (Italians Do it Better) is included in out Best 100 Albums of 2024 list.
Joshua Murphy was born and raised in rural Australia, before eventually moving to Berlin and becoming involved in the local scene as a member of various bands (Crime & The City Solution), local promoter and music venue curator released his debut solo EP Lowlands (2022) on aufnahme + wiedergabe.
