Philadelphia new wave/synthpop/electro pop duo Korine have announced the release of their fourth studio album ‘A Flame In The Dark‘.
To mark the announcement the band have also shared the lead single “Anhedonia”. The follow-up to 2023’s Tear, will be out on March 28 through Born Losers Records. Pre-order your copy here.
The record’s 8 tracks were written, recorded, and produced by Korine, and mixed / mastered collaboratively by Trey Frye and Noah Lemen. The duo describe the new single as: “A depressive post-punk anthem, swirling with the woes of the world. An addictive riff accentuating feelings of general malaise and dissatisfaction. A fantasy of turning disgust into love like alchemy with sound.”

Korine formed in late 2017 by Morgy Ramone and Trey Frye, the pair blends new wave nostalgia, early emo and punk with a modern pop sensibility, contrasting upbeat rhythms against sullen, emotionally evocative lyrics.
