Manchester post punk / new wave band IST IST have unleashed their new single “Repercussions” and its accompanying video.
The track serves as the third taste of their fourth studio album ‘Light A Bigger Fire‘, due to be released on 20th September through their own label Kind Violence Records. They have previously shared “The Kiss” and “Lost My Shadow”. Pre-order your copy here.

A quintessential IST IST track, ‘Repercussions’ is a synth-laden tour de force of brooding bass and vocal hooks, reaching an apex with a striking crescendo of intertwining guitars and dramatic drum breaks.
“It’s a song about damaging thoughts and feelings lingering in your mind.” frontman Adam Houghton explains. “Whether it’s for better or worse, you know things are going to irreversibly change when you eventually spill them to somebody. ;This song is about getting lost in the notion of wondering what would happen if you could truly express yourself with no consequences.”
