Scottish indie/garage band Local Authority have dropped their new single “The Time is Now“.
Formed in 2022, they are influenced primarily by rock n’ roll, punk and indie but with a fresh and raw twist. They have been gaining a lot of attention on the live circuit and have shared the stage with the likes of Neville Staple, The Vapours, Mickey 9s and Penny Mob.
Debut single ‘Big Bad Man’ gave us a a taste of what’s to come from their forthcoming new album. With infectious hooks, on point drumming and top class bass riffs Local Authority are already turning heads and have every intention of making a big impact on the music scene.
Commenting on the track, they say: “The Time Is Now is a song about chilling with friends and not caring about the outside world. Sticking together and being there for one another”.
